It was Jonny’s 29th birthday over the Bank Holiday weekend so I took him to London for a little birthday trip. He’s a huge David Attenborough fan so I booked tickets to the First Life Virtual Reality experience at the Natural History Museum.
We travelled down on Saturday and spent an afternoon pottering around London before the main event on Sunday. The Attenborough Virtual Reality show was beyond my expectations. With the (riduclous looking) headset on we were treated to a fully 3D show. It was genuinely brilliant.
Post show we then spent the rest of the day exploring the museum itself. If you’ve never been before I urge you to go. It is incredible! I had a fab day getting my fix of dinosaurs and creepy taxidermy. Two of my favourite things. Also, check out how excited the guy in the blue shirt is on the photo of me and the dinosaur. He was obviously loving it as much as me!
The weekend was topped off by dinner with a couple of lovely friends, and a little too much wine. Needless to say, even though we’d had a brilliant little trip, I was grateful once my broken body was finally back home on Monday evening!
What a nice weekend you had darling!!! š Jonny is a lucky guy to have such a lovely wife to be!!! ā¤

Oh, I do love London’s Natural History Museum! These photos make me want to go back so bad. Last time I went to London the queue to get in was huuuuuge so we didn’t go in. š¦
Sounds like you and the birthday boy had a fun bank holiday weekend. š

Fortunately we got there before opening (like super eager beavers) so the queues weren’t that huge yet! I’d definitely like to go back again though š
