So far 2016 has been a mix of incredibly high, highs and horribly low, lows.
On April 16th I married Jonny. It was a genuinely amazing day. Even thinking about it now puts a silly little smile on my face. I’ll do a proper post about it all once we get our photos back (our sneak peek of these so far has been fairly exciting!) Here’s one of them.
On May 9th my Grandad died. I’m still at the point where somebody being nice about this can reduce me to tears. His funeral was on Friday and I really think it’d have been all he wanted from the day. I did a reading at the funeral and it was honestly one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But I like to think I made him proud by getting up there and doing so.
I’ve included a happy photo in this post; of my family who are, as always the heroes that keep me going. (Jonny is obviously included in this but this photo just makes me smile.)
2016 you’re being a real rollercoaster so far.
I hope it’s treating you all well.
Sounds like this year’s been a bit of a rollercoaster so far… Wishing you a calmer summer and rest of 2016! I love that photo.

Unfortunately he was too unwell to make our wedding. He was the first we told about our engagement after parents though and was genuinely excited for us.
